The Lothian Junior Championships are open to players who live in Edinburgh, East Lothian, West Lothian, Midlothian and the Scottish Borders council areas. There are sections for Secondary, Primary (P7 & Under) and P5 & Under.
Lothian Junior Chess are pleased to announce the return of our popular Taster Tournament. This is an afternoon of chess for young players who may not feel ready to tackle a six round tournament. It's fun and friendly and run alongside our main tournament (the Lothian Junior Championship), so players can experience playing in match conditions (including using clocks) knowing their games will be against other rookie players.
